Department's own claim is also to provide our clients with expert advice and implementing solutions to problems.
The aim is to achieve the most transparent possible presentation of solutions and results as an essential foundation
for working together collaboratively on equal terms.
Within the scope of lighting system development, we are happy to advise designers, development departments
and series suppliers and offer our expertise in the following areas:
- Consulting on the implementation of design ideas in lighting solutions
- Developing and detailing lighting concepts for interior and exterior lighting functions in the automotive sector, among others
- Converting optical concepts into light prototypes and functional prototypes
- Designing optical concepts and system assemblies for small and large series applications
- Lighting support and advice during the offer phase and in critical project situations (e.g. production tooling, production start-up)
- Consulting and assessment regarding legal boundary conditions (among others ECE, SAE, CCC)
- Consulting regarding optimization potential and alternative lighting strategies
- Benchmarking and optimizing existing optical systems
- Developing and testing the optical system using light simulation and photometric representations of the classic evaluation parameters luminous intensity, luminance, homogeneity, color mixing, color shift, viewing angle dependencies
- Converting photometric simulation results into photo-realistic and physically correct visualizations of lighting functions in the overall environment (Virtual Reality)
- Measuring optical material properties, including special materials such as textiles, woods, leather, varnishes, to generate input parameters for the optical development and visualization process
